I'm doing my project on the vacuole, I gave it the nickname "THE STOMACH".I used this nickname, because like a stomach, the vacuole also stores water, waste, enzymes, and toxic substances.
My organelle is cilia. I nicknamed it the Stache because the cilia traps particles in your respiratory system like a mustache traps bits of food when you eat (and because they are both hair).

My organelle is the cell membrane. I nicknamed it "border patrol" because it acts like the border patrol for the country. It lets some parts in the cell while also keeping others out.
My organelle is mitochondria!!!! I nicknamed it the powerplant because it transfers energy into ATP It has an inner membrane and outer membrane. It also has cristae.

My organelle is the smooth endoplasmic reticulum. I nicknamed it Moogle. I named it that because a Moogle is something on the game "Final Fantasy" because it synthesizes items just like the smooth e.r synthesizes proteins.
My Organelle Is The Rough Endolasmic Reticulum. I Nicknamed The J'Ship, Because Like A Ship Exports Things Like A Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum, and J Is The First Letter Of My Name.
The organelle project completed in our classroom was one that required time and deliberation. Painting, sketching out, and thinking about where to put the various key components of said projects.
Personally, I worked on the nucleus. It's function being that of commanding the cell in various ways in order for it to survive, I nicknamed it "Alpha". In order to stay alive, beings need structure, which was my reasoning for this specific name. The nucleus is composed of the Nuclear envelope, Nucleolus, Chromatin, and nuclear pores... just to name the component parts without any further explanation.

I also did "Vacuole" and i nicknamed it the Lunch Ladies. I gave it that name because lunch ladies store the food for the school, or whatever, like the vacuole stores the food for the cell.
I did my project, on the Nucleus. I named it Don Corleone, because he was the Godfather or leader of the Italian mafia, in THE GODFATHER. He he makes all the desicions for the group, and gives orders to kepp everything flowing (with everybody alive) :]

So i nicknamd it the factory.

This is Big Red or Justin Watson. This project was on the stages of meiois. We used features on the lap tops to take pictures of cells made of yarn and make voice recordings using garage band. I really enjoyed this project. Except when Tyler missed 2 days!!

I did my project on a leucoplast. I nick named it Elmer because, it held fatty and amino acids together.
My organelle is chromoplast. I gave it the nickname "Paint Shop" because it gives fruits and flowers their color just like a paint shop does to a car.
